“ Nice new cafe in downtown Kent. Menu is like coffee shop feel but the food is some of your usual breakfast/lunch items with an islander twist. You can cheese what meat to put in your breakfast/lunch with an extra choice of spam which sometimes is a nice option to have, depending on your day or crave. ”
“ Cafe on Fourth is a wonderfully cozy, welcoming space with an ever-evolving and delicious menu. I always mean to go in there and try one of the many new and delectable sounding dishes and chase it with a coffee-concoction that I have yet to try. But, I am so utterly addicted to their breakfast burrito and Red Bull Italian soda (I suggest pairing guava and raspberry) that I don't think I've made it through even half the menu. Whether I'm popping in for a quick to-go order, or perching with a book and laptop, Cafe on Fourth is always an inviting atmosphere. Every face I've chatted with behind the counter, from owner to baristas to cook, have all been solid, good people. I am grateful they have decided to set up this cafe-oasis in downtown Kent, offering us all something more familial, more creative, and more invested in their patrons than the usual PNW coffee chain. Please, do yourself a genuine favor and stop by Cafe on Fourth; good food, good drink, and good people await. ”

“ This place is a hidden gem and a beautiful contrast to the Starbucks on the next block. They offer a great selection of dishes, with delicious Hawaiian specialties. Not to mention the piano they just got! You should go ;) ”
“ What a pleasant little surprise this place was! For breakfast I had the musubi: seaweed-wrapped rice, sausage and egg—so reasonably priced!—and it was so good I came back for lunch, ordering a veggie and hummus pizza! The pizza, too, was so delicious and filling and reasonably priced, I took a photo of the menu so my work team could get a pizza for themselves. Also worth noting: really comfortable chairs, accessible outlets, really friendly and accommodating staff, a diversity of table sizes (don’t come with a large group and expect you’ll all be able to sit at one large table, as there’s only 1-2 of those), pleasant Hawaiian music playing, and it wasn’t crowded. ”
“ Service was great. Everyone was very nice. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich and a quad shot Carmel Macchiato. The croissant was nice and flaky but not dry. When I get a quad shot coffee, I like the taste of coffee and Carmel not burnt coffee flavor. There are some places(not going to mention Starbucks) that often taste burnt with just a double shot. Cafe on Fourth has great coffee, food and service . It's worth going out of my way to get there. ”

“ Cafe on Fourth is your neighborhood coffee getaway. I feel like an episode of FriEnDs when I bring my loved ones here. The cafe experience features lots of variety in coffee and beverage offerings, several food selections, different forms of education, and lots of culture. The walls are lined with Kent Valley Art. The staff always go above and beyond. It is located within walking distance of the Kent Library, downtown Kent farmer's market, and 5 minutes walk to the Kent Station. The cafe events include Ukelele lessons and Open Mic. Today, we enjoyed hand roasted coffee lessons today by Jay and Steve, #SimplyRoastedCoffee. Thank you Sheldon and Corene for providing the most welcoming atmosphere and activities. We will keep coming back! ”
